I belong to a couple of Houston photo groups but there is nothing I can find north of the city. It is a lot of fun meeting at different venues and seeing what others see. Also everyone has been super nice about sharing technics and knowledge about all things photography. This group is for anyone who loves photography. From using your phone, to a multi thousand dollar rig, this group strives to promote photography through education and hands on experience. We promise to have a safe, family friendly atmosphere, and to always remember to leave the place we photograph the same as when we came for the next group. The Houston Camera Club was founded in 1935 and is still going strong. We meet the first and third Tuesday at the Bayland Community Center on Bissonnet from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The first Tuesday is a competition meeting where members shoot an assignment and compete against each other in both projected digital and prints. The third Tuesday is a workshop/program meeting.
